CITY COUNCIL CIVIC CABINET

TIM QUINN is Councillor for Dutton Park
Ward, Deputy Mayor and Chairperson of the Urban Planning
Committee.
He is responsible for:
- promoting a range of housing choices
- improving traffic flow
- managing Brisbane's natural environment, including
improving Brisbane's quality of air and protecting the
Brisbane River and waterways
- maintaining economic prosperity
ANN BENNISON is the Councillor for Enoggera Ward and
Chairperson of the Customer and Local Services Committee.
She is responsible for the following services:
- local drainage, roads and footpaths
- developing local communities
- effective customer service through the Call Centre,
Customer Service Centres, Ward Offices and other outlets
- library and information services
- administration of local laws
- development and building assessment
- efficient delivery of water and sewerage operations
KEVIN BIANCHI is the Councillor for Acacia Ridge Ward
and Chairperson of the City Businesses Committee.
The City Business Division, for which he is responsible, provides
a range of competitive commercial services:
- Cemeteries
- Nurseries
- Construction and Maintenance Services
- Mosquito and Pest Control
- Design and Construction Management
- Information Technology Systems Support
- Major Venue and Premier Event Management
JOHN CAMPBELL is the Councillor for Doboy Ward and
Chairperson of the Finance Committee.
He is responsible for:
- maintaining the financial strength of the Council
- advancing the City of Brisbane's interests with all
levels of government
- ensuring the effective management of Council's economic
and human resources
- ensuring that appropriate resources are provided for the
effective - government of the City of Brisbane
MAUREEN HAYES is the Councillor for Grange Ward and
Chairperson of the Transport and Major Projects Committee.
She is responsible for developing policies aimed at:
- effective public transport
- developing safe and effective bus and road networks
DAVID HINCHLIFFE is the Councillor for Central Ward
and Chairperson of Community Policy Committee.
He is responsible for developing policies aimed at:
- improving and promoting Brisbane's lifestyle
- providing leisure and cultural activities
- maintaining the natural environment
- ensuring easy access to information
- promoting community involvement
- promoting Brisbane as a safe city
