Internal Review of Freedom of Information Decision

Some times decision are made about access to particular documents under FOI which are not correct. The Act allow for a two stage review of those decisions. The first stage of Review is to request the Department to review their decision. This review is carried out by another officer within the Department who did not not involved with the original decision making process. Fourteen days are allowed for this process.
