Brisbane City Council Shame File # 40

What a mayoral candidate saw just down the road from the Lord Mayor's house
Whilst letterboxing at St Lucia!

1. 2.

3.

A development which has no sediment controls at all and soil in the gutter.

Site Address: between 102 and 108, 9th Avenue St Lucia.

Reported by phone 9.15 am Friday 17 March 2000 to Brisbane Call Centre.

Response time quoted at one hour.

(This suggested time response must be a record as a complaint on Monday 27 March for a large east side development with sediment across the road and in gutters was quoted as a two or three days response time by the local DRS manager.)

Reference No. R43448.

If the Mayor can't enforce sediment controls in his own street
where can he enforce it?

This Developer is also in breach of the Buliding Services Act which requires the Developer's name and his building licence's number to be prominately displayed at all times.
